Artist Bio:

RaMed Studios Project 59 presents multi genre recording artist Maricia RaMed & PRr A RaMed who releases history making three (3) albums to the world.

Maricia RaMed is a multi- talented, dynamic Jamaican Singer, DJ, songwriter. She was born and raised in the rustic rural district of Troja St. Catherine. Her burgeoning talent

saw her singing in and around her parish from a tender age. She performed at churches, concerts, weddings, and various functions which formed the embryonic platform to nurture vocal prowess. She attended Titchfield High School and was quite active in the Titchfield Chorale which performed at the JCDC festivals annually and various arenas across the island. It is therefore no surprise that Maricia later enrolled in and attended The Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, the premier tertiary institution for these disciplines on the island, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. Maricia is one of the founding members as well as band leader and lead singer of the Therapy Band which was formed at Edna Manley College and went on to perform all over the Island and the United States of America.

Some of her musical inspirations are PRr A RaMed, Peter Tosh, Beres Hammond, Whitney Houston, Marcia Griffiths and Tina Turner. She migrated to the United States of America in 2014 where she met PRr A RaMed who became her mentor producer and manager who gave her a whole new sound and image with a universal appeal. PRr A RaMed from the outset told Maricia RaMed "we will make music that have a worldwide and Universal appeal." The chemistry was instant and they soon became a dynamic duo. PRr later signed her to his RaMed Studios recording label and she took on the stage name Maricia RaMed.
